DISC Sample
DISC is an important component in the selection process, and an excellent tool to use for personal development and team building. DISC's benefit is in helping you understand how a candidate will impact your team dynamics. Because it does not help you identify which candidates have the greatest likelihood of success (personality and cognitive tests such as Clues, Prevue and Assess do that), it is not recommended to use alone in hiring.
DISC will identify which individuals will come across as intimidating; which ones will talk too much, be too quiet or follow the rules too closely. Not only does DISC help you evaluate team dynamics it also helps the individual better understand how s/he comes across to others so that s/he can make behavior adjustments when appropriate.
