Marilyn has always had a keen interest in assessments and in making a difference.
After earning a BA in Sociology with a minor in psychology Marilyn later went on to earn a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. In graduate school and as a psychotherapist Marilyn used assessments whenever possible to help clients accomplish measurable goals. Her expertise and experience in psychological assessment gives her a deeper understanding of personality functioning as it applies to the workplace.
With this as a backdrop Marilyn helps synergize! clients understand how job candidates are likely to meet organizational criteria so they hire people they don’t later regret hiring. She also helps leadership teams increase productivity – identifying and overcoming dysfunctions that impact performance, providing coaching to develop strong leaders and cohesive teams and creating environments where people enjoy going to work. (Check out a real life side by side summary of a before and after evaluation of an executive team!)
In addition to holding a Master of Science, Marilyn is a Certified Professional Behaviors Analyst; a Certified Business, Career and Executive Coach; and is certified in the ASSESS Strategic Success Model of competency identification.
